Photography for me started at the age of 10 taking pictures of wildlife, I then went on to study photography at Brighton City College during the 1990’s. Shortly after, I started publishing articles and supplying images to magazines and calendar companies which took me all over the country and overseas gathering images for publication.  From 2010, I began shooting for holiday brochures and taking more adventurous photo trips to far corners of the world, the Himalaya being of particular interest.

As well as the commercial side of photography, I have always been interested in photography as a form of art. It’s the detail, texture, light and tone in the natural world that particularly interests me,  and over the past two decades I have explored the coasts, mountains and forests of the world in search of the elusive composition.

Through these photographs, I hope to communicate my visual correspondence with natural world and the people that live within it, and to encourage the viewer to understand and empathise with the delicate and fragile nature of the world we live in.
