Photography is my chosen medium to express the way I see and feel about the world we live in, from a natural place of personal serenity to my affinity to the people who live in harsh environments in distant corners of the world. This line of intrigue can take me from a local woodland or hilltop on a misty morning to a mountain village in the Himalayas, enthusing me to encapsulate the essence of time and place. Through my photographs, I hope to communicate my visual connection with the natural world and the people that live within it, and to encourage the viewer to empathise and appreciate the delicate and fragile nature of the world we live in.
